Thomas Williams Joins Protection From Abuse
International Security Expert Joins Non-Profit’s Advisory Council
PHILADELPHIA – March 2, 2017 — PROTECTION FROM ABUSE announced today that international security expert Thomas Williams of Amyntor Group joined its Advisory Council. Mr. Williams brings over 25 years of specialized operational and management experience to the charity.
Mr. Williams has served as a Senior Staff Officer and Advisor directly supporting the Global War on Terrorism, and other sensitive operations worldwide. He was the Director of Special Programs for Blackwater Worldwide as well as holding the same title at the Lincoln Group. Mr. Williams was appointed and served as the Senior Security Program Officer for the Bureau of Diplomatic Security’s High Threat Protection Division and managed the Bureau’s largest security Task Order (Baghdad) as well as other high threat posts.

Thomas Williams is a combat veteran of the First Gulf War and is active on numerous corporate advisory boards primarily focused on security issues. In his free time, he plays rugby for the United States Marine Corps’ Old Breed rugby team in support of scholarships for the children of Marine Corps fallen and veteran support programs.
